Strategic Portfolio of Terminals and Depots
Wan Hai Lines (hereinafter "WHL") initially began our business in 1965 as an Inter-Asia log carrier. In response to the international trend, we transformed into a specialized container liner in 1976. Our current service network covers Asia, Europe and North American nations, with branches and agents all over the major ports and cities around the world. As WHL holds the spirits of "Premium Quality & Customer First", our services are outstanding and flexible with thoughtfulness.
WHL is not only a specialized container liner but also a proficient terminal operator, which has accumulated rich experience in managing and operating terminals and depots. WHL operates three self-owned terminals of Kaohsiung Port and Taichung Port in Taiwan and Tokyo Port in Japan, and four joint venture terminals of Taipei Port in Taiwan, Haiphong Port, Da Nang Port and Cai Mep Port in Vietnam. With regard to depot business, we operate six depots at strategic locations across Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Malaysia. To expand container chain services, our business scope also covers stevedoring, trucking, CFS warehousing and Free Zone Trade business.
WHL has always been at the forefront of the automated operating container terminal and is dedicated to fulfilling social responsibility toward the environment, transportation and supply chain safety, and occupational safety. In order to implement our commitments to corporate social responsibility and labor care and then further ensure corporate sustainability, WHL has carried out the full implementation of the internationally agreed standards which includes but are not limited to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS), ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHS), and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) to fulfill the responsibilities including ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)
